Idevcor was founded in 2003 with the goal of optimizing the delivery of online media. Our first development, a hard drive accelerator for Maxtor called the GameDrive, combined a Windows application and file system driver to accelerate the load time of PC games. A specialized file cache and industry-first multi-stream retrieval model worked together to load game data from two or more hard-drives simultaneously. This technology, known internally as Crossflux, could load game content 2 to 3 times faster than a standard system. The next project, the Quantum Mesh, extended this principle to internet media retrievals. Using a client plug-in and specialized network infrastructure, this system coordinated the retrieval of media across servers, proxies and peers to enable fast, efficient and cost effective streaming for on-demand content or live events.

Our first immersive media project synchronized the live delivery of dozens of media channels from NASCAR events, including audio, position and telemetry data for each car, through a web simulation that provided a unique race perspective to tens of thousands of race viewers.
